The Carillon Bell Choir is a 4-octave handbell choir using Schulmerich Handbells. The bell choir at First United Methodist Church started in 1964 when Robert and Dorothy Renshaw donated the first two octaves in memory of their daughter Janet. Additional octaves have been donated in memory of Ada Christian and Lena Christensen.
The bell choir rehearses Wednesday evenings from 5:45 – 6:45 pm in the Adult Lounge. Once a month, they contribute special music to the 9:00 am Traditional worship service.
We welcome new members. Our only requirement is that you have a desire to belong to this dedicated group, and that you have a knowledge of music. You may contact the director by leaving a message at the church office at 480-969-5577
