Born and raised in Frederick, Maryland, Jess has been a lifelong member of The United Methodist church. Jess has Served in multiple positions within the church including lay delegate to Annual Conference, Secretary for the District Committee on the District Superintendent, Lay Servant, and full voting delegate elected to represent The Desert Southwest Annual Conference at The Western Jurisdictional and General Conferences. Jess is also an artist! She draws, paints, makes paper crafts, does pottery and paints murals. When not at work, she enjoys spending time outside with her dog, Rufio.
