Worship Services

About the 9 am Worship Service Experience

Our Worship Services take place in our main Sanctuary. The Sanctuary itself was built in the early 1950’s and has served as our worship space for over 60 years. The 120 foot spire rises above our sanctuary and serves as an iconic feature and landmark in downtown Mesa.

Music Ministry:  Our worship experience contains a variety of musical styles and often features familiar Methodist hymns and heart-pumping American spirituals.  The music is anchored by our Centennial Organ and the Chancel Choir.  The worship experience is often enhanced with congregational singing, Bells, periodic offerings by soloists, and vocal and instrumental ensembles.

The Sermons:  The sermons are meaningful messages geared toward a contemporary context.  They will make you smile; they can bring a tear to your eye; yet they never lose sight of the eternal search for what it means to be a disciple of Christ in an ever-changing world. The Children’s Message:  For five or so minutes, the children come down from the pews to sit on the alter steps with a pastor or teacher and discuss what it means to follow Jesus.  Learn more about our Children’s Ministry and our Youth Ministry
